At least once a day, when I flip on Instagram habitually, I see one of these motivational posts about just doing the thing, or get up and shut up and do, or whatever. Usually, they have a famous social media person on there, but the social media influencer like a podcaster or a speaker did not necessarily post it, some 3 party post did. And I always wonder about those accounts, wondering…
Yea, but what are they trying to become great at? They are trying to motivate me to ‘do the thing’, but what ‘thing’ are they doing?
Within the same day, I also saw a person that has a following that watches due to their harsh criticism about the care of happiness in life, that it is not something that people should care about, and instead doing great things. Funny enough, said influencer had a video that cam out on their podcast about them saying to their audience about how happy they were that day, and that if the listener was not happy, they should figure out how to be happy right now, which was the opposite of what their entire message was for the last couple of years that they were influencing and being on podcasts for.
I do not condone this influencer, and understand what the 3rd party motivational insta page is doing, since I am doing something like that, but my own version, authentic to my taste of content and wanting to go against the grain. What I am sayin is that you need to take every influencer and what they say with a grain of salt. When they preach a ‘mindset’ that they tell you to have, remember that it is easy for a lot of them to preach this since you cannot see what they do when the camera are off, or they may change their ‘mindset’ or beleifs in a month or two from now, completely leaving behind the one you have adopted full on due to being so enthralled by their original influence.
Whenever someone tells you about a conspiracy, or an influencer tells you how to do or not do something, remember that it is impossible for somoene to be 100% correct about these things.
Outside of the basics, no one knows EXACTLY the EXACT right exercises to get to a bodybuilder physic. A lot of bodybuilders go different ways, and it all leads them to the same place, its really just about showing up for that.
Your not 100% correct, and neither am I, as wild as that may sound! So just take what anyone says on the internet with a grain of salt. Just because they have thousands of people following them ,does not mean that they are more valid than your next door neighbor who doesnt even know what instagram is.
